What an absolutely spectacular way to celebrate American Education Week (Nov 17 – 21) at CLC! Our incredible school staff brought Eric Carle’s The Mixed-Up Chameleon to vibrant life today, and it was pure magic!
Staff came dressed to the nines as all the wild characters from the book—we had dazzling peacocks, wise foxes, tall giraffes, and even enormous elephants roaming the space! The whole performance was brilliantly translated by staff member, Kathleen Quinn with American Sign Language (ASL), ensuring every member of our CLC family could enjoy the show.
And getting into the spirit of American Ed Week, our Principal Kevin Loughlin played the part as the perfectly perplexed Mixed-Up Chameleon! It truly captured the spirit of fun and community learning. The students enjoyed every moment!
Thank you to everyone who participated in this joyful event! This is what education is all about—bringing stories and learning together for all!
