We had a GRAND day celebrating St. Patrick’s Day here at CP Nassau! In a wonderful tradition that has brought JOY on this day for over 20 years, dancers from the Hagen School of Irish Dance in Long Beach, shared their time and talents here through the halls and classrooms of our Agency.
Students from our school, the Children’s Learning Center, were wearing green and happy smiles as the young ladies danced their way around in their colorful dresses and soft dancing shoes. The fun continued in the Adult Day Services (ADS) area and finished up in the Auditorium where participants from various program in ADS enjoyed the lilt of laughter and festive Irish dancing. Many even got up and did a few steps with the dancers! It was a wonderful day and we are so grateful to the school’s director, Jean Hagen Duffy and the dancers and their Moms who accompanied them.
(Green eggs and ham were served in the cafeteria for the adult participants and we heard it was delicious!!!)
