covid-19 safety & guidance
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County has established numerous guidelines to keep our students, adults with disabilities and our staff as safe as possible during these unprecedented times. Please note that these are general guidelines as every scenario, with all the mitigating factors, experienced and reported during this pandemic, cannot be covered in the manuals for the Agency or for each program. As such, the Agency’s Medical Director is frequently consulted to determine the best path to follow to meet our goal of minimizing the spread of the COVID-19 virus. It is important to note that depending upon the current environment/circumstances; guidelines may be altered for the health of the individuals and the staff.
