- Establish & maintain relationships with all program participants by building rapport and familiarizing with day program records including life plans, medical conditions, day program goals, target behaviors, etc
- On a daily basis, work closely with program participants providing consistent and ongoing behavioral support in order to provide reinforcement and generalization of skills across different settings and situations.
- Assist with skill acquisition tasks, working with individuals to develop a wide range of skills such as better communication, positive social interaction, and coping skills.
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed and authored by BIS by addressing challenging behaviors, promoting positive behavior change, and teaching participants effective strategies for emotional regulation.
