Community Based Day Hab enjoyed a day of Whale Watching on the Captain Lou Fleet’s- Atlantic Pearl Boat. The group boarded and departed from the Nautical Mile. They spent the day sight-seeing for whales, seals and dolphins. Unfortunately, they didn’t spot any whales, but they did see dolphins! The group enjoyed being on a boat and making memories, sailing together in the ocean.
This trip came about because one of the program participants, Loretta, shared that she wanted to go on a boat. She’s enjoyed going on boats with family but wanted to enjoy it with her friends. Loretta shared, “It felt good being on a boat with friends!”
Laurent commented that” he was happy to experience this at program.”
Frank said he” was excited about being on the big boat!”
