Nursing is a Work of Heart: In Recognition of Nurses Week, Bob McGuire Speaks with RNs Rachel Diaz and Maryann Brohan
Ralph Waldo Emerson once stated, ” To know even one live has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.” This could not ring truer than now when we realize the skills, compassion and contributions these two dedicated nurses along with our whole frontline medical team have displayed in caring for the individuals with disabilities we serve at CP Nassau.

from Bob McGuire Thanking Our Nurses
In celebration of NURSES WEEK, starting with today, May 6th, we will include essays or quotes from our front line nurses with thoughts about what being a nurse means to them: working with our population of individuals with disabilities and thoughts on the challenges and the bright moments as we work together to fight this global pandemic. All of the nurses have our eternal gratitude. Their skills and selflessness are inspiration to all all today and always.
Today we hear from Madeline Staton, LPN at CP Bayville
Happy Nurses Week – May 6th til May 12th!

We thank ALL the nurses out there for the great work you do and send our special thanks to those working on the front lines in these challenging times!
THANK YOU FOR MAKING A DIFFERENCE!
We would like to give a very special thank you to our nursing staff and medical aides. They are working on the frontlines and going above and beyond to make our residents feel comforted, safe and cared for during these very challenging times. They can always be counted on to provide the best care. We are grateful to have such a wonderful staff who deeply care about our children and adults with disabilities.
