Uma and Eesha Kaushik, two sisters from Syosset, came up with an idea for a Go Fund Me page after being cooped up in their house. The two high school students wanted to help donate needed medical equipment likes gloves and mask to the doctors and nurses who are on the frontline of the Coronavirus epidemic.

Uma, who is a junior at Syosset High School, said that she and her sister came up with the idea after listening to their father explain the dire situation at area hospitals.

“My dad is a gastroenterologist at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn, and he told us about the constant influx of COVID-19 infected patients into the hospital,” said Kaushik.

The sisters heard about the needs of the Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County, in particular at CP Bayville and came forward with a great supply of protective gowns, masks, sanitizers and medical grade wipes. They will continue to help as needs arise for our Agency. CP Nassau is so grateful for the amazing generosity and caring of the Kaushik sisters, along with their Mom and Dad!

THANK YOU FOR MAKING A DIFFERENCE FOR SO MANY!
