Assistant Community Coach-Group Site Based Day Hab

High School Diploma or GED, Clean & Valid NYS Driver’s License. Associate’s Degree, AMAP Certification  and 1 year experience with developmentally disabled population preferred.

Behavior Intervention Specialist-Group Site Based Day Hab

Master’s in Psychology, experience in treating DD population, experience writing, implementing with Behavior Modification Plans/Strategies, the ability to use Microsoft Word.

Bilingual Spanish Speech Language Pathologist – Children’s Learning Center

Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology, NYS License as a Speech/Language Pathologist (or CFY), Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (or CFY), NYS Initial/Permanent Certification as Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)/Teacher of the Speech/Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) Bilingual extension. Preferred: Experience with oral-motor therapy, dysphagia and augmentative/alternative communication.

Bilingual Spanish Social Worker – Children’s Learning Center

MSW from an accredited School of Social Work, NYS School Social Worker Certification, Fluent in Spanish. LMSW or LCSW Certification preferred.

Classroom Aide-Life Options

Required: High School Diploma or GED, one year work experience with DD population, Valid NYS Driver’s License. Preferred: HHA experience, AMAP certification.

Community Aide-Life Options

Required: High School Diploma or GED, one year work experience with DD population, Valid NYS Driver’s License. Preferred: HHA experience, AMAP certification.

Community Coach-Life Options

Associate’s Degree, Experience with DD population, Microsoft Word and Excel, Valid NYS Driver’s License, Van Certification, AMAP Certification. Preferred: Day Habilitation experience, 1 year supervisory experience.

Community Habilitation Worker-Per Diem

High School Diploma.  Experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Janitor (Part Time-3:00pm-7:30pm)

Cleaning Experience.

Medical Scheduler

High School diploma, ICD-9, CPT Coding, Medical terminology, exceptional organizational skills, telephone skills, computer experience, Medicaid/Medicare insurance knowledge required.

Special Ed Teacher (Temporary)-Children’s Learning Center

Certification in Special Education Birth to 2nd Grade in New York State.

Summer Teacher (July 2nd to August 23rd)-Children’s Learning Center

NYS Teaching Certification in Special Education; Early Childhood, Students with Disabilities (birth-2) or Students with Disabilities(1-6)

Teacher Aide-Children’s Learning Center

High School Diploma. Preferred: College credit in education, psychology, childcare or related job experience; experience/training with children with multiple handicaps.

 

 BAYVILLE RESIDENCE

Our progressive, 48-bed facility in Bayville.

Direct Support Professionals – Full Time, Part Time or Per Diem

Various hours/schedules; High School Diploma; clean, valid NYS Driver License; experience working with individuals with Developmentally Disabled population; AMAP certification preferred.

Lead Direct Care Professional (3:30pm-11:30pm)

One Year supervisory experience. High School Diploma; clean, valid NYS Driver License; experience working with individuals with Developmentally Disabled population; AMAP certification preferred

Physical Therapist-1 Day per Week Variable

Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy, Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, NYS License as a Physical Therapist required.

Registered Nurse (Tuesday-Saturday, 3:30pm-11:30pm)

NYS Registered Nurse License, Graduate from NYS Associate Nursing program and CPR certified required.  Preferred: 1 year experience in treating individuals with developmental disabilities.

 

 

 OTHER RESIDENCES

Work at one of our 20 residences in Nassau County.

 
Assistant Residential Manager (3:00pm – 11:00pm, overnights and weekend shifts available)

Required: Associate’s Degree in a Human Service field or 3 years experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Valid New York State Driver’s License. Preferred: One year supervisory experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Direct Support Professionals – Full Time, Part Time or Per Diem

Various hours / Flex schedule, HS Diploma/ GED required. Clean, valid NYS drivers license. Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.

Nursing Supervisor

NYS License, Familiarity with ICF regulations and experience working with individuals with disabilities required. Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing and 1 year supervisory experience.

Residential Manager

Required: Associate’s Degree in a Human Service field or 2 years experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities, 2 years supervisory experience, Valid New York State Driver’s License. Preferred: 5 years supervisory experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Service field.

 

OCEANSIDE DAY HABILITATION

Join our community outreach program where trained and qualified individuals with developmental disabilities provide local non profit businesses with community service.

Assistant Community Coach

HS diploma/ GED required. Associate’s Degree preferred. NYS drivers license a must. Ideal candidate must experience with individuals with developmental disabilities. AMAP certification preferred.
