Great Way to Start the Week Thanks to Some Very Special Friends

On Monday, May 4th 17 CP Nassau residential homes and the staff working at the CP Center were treated to an amazing hot lunch compliments of Emilia Solinto Lawler and her family and friends! Prince Umberto’s of Franklin Square worked hard making all the delicious food including pasta, chicken parm, salad, garlic knots and more! The yummy hot meals were then delivered to every single location all over Nassau County! So many wonderful, caring, incredible people do generous, amazing things to make other people happy! The CP Nassau residential staff members felt so appreciated by this magnificent gesture and could not be more grateful to Emilia and her family and friends. They know that Emilia’s brother Philip, a participant in the CP Nassau Day program is her inspiration and they all think that is wonderful and give thanks to Philip too! All the residents were excited just knowing this very special lunch was on its way to them and they enjoyed making special signs to say thanks to Emilia and her supporters and to the staff at Prince Umbertos! The whole Maintenance staff and other essential workers at the main Center also felt very appreciated as they dined on this scrumptious luncheon.

All is all, a very beautiful and heartwarming way to start the week! EMILIA and your family and friends and all at Prince Umbertos ; Thank you for making a difference. You have special hearts!
